Delta County COVID-19 Vaccine Update
Yesterday, the CDC advised states to begin Covid-19 vaccinations in people 65 and older. Additionally, they advised states to stop withholding vaccine for the second dose in order to reach more people earlier. Colorado has revised its rollout to meet the new guidelines, but at this time, there have been no additional doses received in Delta County.
To get on the list for vaccinations once there is more vaccine available, you can call the Hotchkiss West Elk Clinic (970) 872-1400 or the Delta County Health Department (970) 874-2172. You do not need to be a patient at the West Elk Clinic to be added to their list. You'll be asked for your name, date of birth, phone number and address and they will call you to schedule an appointment once the vaccine is here. If you are already on the list, there is no need to call again.
